Although these two worlds are very similar, their meaning is very different. It is very important to understand the differences between them so we don't end up making a terrible mistake. Embarassed

In English, the adverb "eventually" means finally, ultimately. This is translated to Portuguese as "finalmente", "por fim". However, adverb "eventualmente" in Portuguese, means "possibly", something that may or may not happen.

Sometimes a little mistake like this could get you in serious trouble. Rolling Eyes
