Such as last week’s term, Gate is also a term widely accepted within airports around the world. But again some languages have their own term and that is the case for the Portuguese language.

In Portuguese Gate is translated as “ Porta de Embarque” . This is the place where the passenger boards its flight.  There they should present their Boarding Pass and Passport and then proceed to their flight.

Tal como o termo da semana passada, “Gate” ‘e também um termo aceite por aeroportos em todo o mundo. Mas mais uma vez, temos alguns casos de outras línguas que possuem um termo próprio, entre as quais o português.

Em português “Gate” é traduzido por “Porta de Embarque”. Este é o local onde o passageiro embarca no seu voo. Aí, o passageiro deverá apresentar o seu cartão de embarque e passaporte e depois prosseguir para o avião.
