Weather: Trough / Depressão

A trough is a region of low atmospheric pressure normally associated with a frontal system. It's usually responsible for strong winds, rain and sometimes storms.

In portuguese trough is translated as depressão or depressão frontal, when associated with fronts.

Um trough é uma região de baixa pressão atmosférica, geralmente associada a um sistema frontal. Normalmente é responsável por ventos fortes, chuva e por vezes trovoadas.

Em português, trough traduz-se por depressão ou depressão frontal, quando associada a sistemas frontais.
