Nigerian scammers
Dear colleagues and members,
Today I received another alert about another Nigerian scammer trying to rip off translators all over the world. In fact, I've been reading a lot about these type of scam in other Translator's Forums and Websites and it seems to be an increasing problem in our industry.
I must confess that it makes me quite concerned because it seems to be a very serious issue in the industry at the moment.
So I decided to bring it to our discussion here.
I would like to know your opinion about this issue. Have you ever been a victim of a Nigerian scammer? What do you think should be done to avoid it?
Thanks
Regards
