Dear Xeddy

That expression has no equivalent in Portuguese I'm afraid.

I've searched several sources and I haven't found any equivalent for "as the crow flies".

But the translation would be "sempre em frente" ...

I don't know if any of the other members has a better solution.

Hi there Xeddy,

I cannot think of an idiomatic expression itself that can mean the same but you can use "a direito" (meaning in a straight line). "Sempre em frente" is also correct.
