"Agony Aunt Chronicles"

Dear colleagues,
Today I was talking to a friend and she used this expression that I've never heard in English before.
The expression is "Agony Aunt Chronicles". I'd like to know is there is a proper Portuguese translation and if this is just a British expression or if it's used in other countries. I've never heard of here in Australia though!
